Update your email, password, or backup recovery info.
Your privacy is real. Your notebook entries are encrypted on your device with a key derived from your password. We literally cannot read them, and we cannot recover them for you if you forget your password and lose your recovery phrase. A backup email helps reset your main password but the notebook itself still needs your phrase. Save your phrase in two places. Use a backup email. We care this much because the only person who should be able to read your reflections is you.
A second email you control. We use this if you ever lose access to your main one. Optional but strongly recommended, especially before you start writing in your notebook. We verify it with a 6-digit code so a typo doesn't lock you out.

If you think your account may have been accessed by someone else, this signs you out on every device, including this one. You'll need to log back in with your password. Your notebook stays encrypted and intact.
Your data, in plain words
A short version. The full privacy policy has everything.
Your notebook is encrypted on your device. We can't read your entries. We literally do not have the key.
If you forget your password and lose your recovery phrase, the notebook is gone forever. We can't recover it. That's the tradeoff for true privacy.
Your backup email is a second recovery channel. If you ever lose access to your main email, you can reset your password using the backup. We verify it before trusting it.
Your email is used for account access and the occasional product update. You can opt out of updates anytime.
We don't sell your data. Ever. We don't show ads.
If you delete your account, your notebook and reflections are deleted with it.
Your journal, saved films, and watching history are always private to you. Your team admin can only see that you are on the team, your name, and your email.
