what did you notice?

Sat, May 17
"

A small thing. A learner's question, a quiet moment, an idea that surprised you. Curiosity often hides in the unremarkable.

your noticings

pinned noticings.

small things you kept. some you may want to pull a thread on later.

Yuvaraaj's video changed how a kid looked at me. She walked out asking what counts as smart. I didn't have an answer.

noticing judgment May 14

Reginah's moment with the goats. Half the class went quiet. Felt the room shift.

empathy May 12

Asked the class why they thought Norma drew her own school. Got 23 different answers. Best 20 minutes of the week.

curiosity May 10

I tried not to give the answer for ten seconds. They filled it. Note to self: count to ten more often.

patience May 9

D. asked if Chetan was really happy living in a place that small. I'd been about to move on. We didn't.

listening May 7

Wonder is contagious. So is sarcasm. Watch which one you carry into the room.

your annual reflection

what is one thing this work has given those you teach this year?

past years:
this becomes a keepable artifact at year's end
· page 10 of 11 ·
yours, fully

this notebook belongs to you. the honest end-flap.

🔒 privacy promise
what's encrypted

your weekly check-ins, your today notes, your annual reflections, your "just for me" entries. encrypted with a key derived from your password. we cannot read these. even with a subpoena. structurally unreadable.

what we see, anonymously

when you mark an entry "aggregate anon," we see only counts and dimension tags. no names. no specifics. used only to learn what kinds of reflections educators write, not what you wrote.

what you can share

entries you explicitly mark "quote ok" can be quoted on our public pages. always with the option to take back consent. never your name unless you also pick "quote named."

🔑 recovery phrase saved. six words. without it, lost password = lost entries. that's the encryption tradeoff.
